According to him, his earnest desire and prayer is to heal the broken-hearted and bring comfort to the depressed via his God-given melodious songs.
“Kuyi Rai” (Look and live) is a song of encouragement which is meant to boost Christians’ momentum as so many are going through afflictions, severe persecutions, crisis, marital failures, loss of beloved ones, and so on. Instead of accepting defeat, he admonishes us to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrew 12:2). In his words, he asserts that “You will see the light at the end of the tunnel”. And The Bible maintains that those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame (Psalm 34:5).
Moreover, God in his all-knowingness allows us to experience certain things for our making and glorification of his name. Thus, we must fix our eyes on him wholeheartedly, which will ultimately result in God being glorified through these seemingly negative occurrence(s).
“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever” (Exodus 14:13).
